A durable and spacious backpack for touring
If you’re in the market for a versatile, durable and spacious backpack for touring or shorter treks, then you’ve got to take a closer look at the Prospector 50 mountaineering backpack from Big Agnes. Made of a durable and abrasion-resistant nylon material, the backpack will last you a very long time.
Impressive carrying system distributes the load nicely
The carrying system was specially designed for the male anatomy. It has curved shoulder straps and stretchy padding on the hip belt, so the load will stay close to your body. Plus, the back panel follows the curvature of the spine. The lower back is padded and the whole back has foam of varying densities to best fit your body shape. The padding has some openings for ventilation, making it more comfortable to wear for a longer period of time. In addition, the wide, padded hip belt with its two stabilising straps ensures a good hold and load distribution. The shoulder straps, the integrated aluminium frame and the adjustable sternum strap complete the carrying system. The Load Lifter Straps at the shoulders are there to make fine adjustments to the load.
The backpack has a practical zip on the back that lets you open it like a duffel bag. This gives you easy access to all of your contents without having to rummage through everything. It can also be opened from the top if you need to quickly grab some gear. The backpack is also equipped with a front compartment, side pockets, a zipped front pocket and two detachable hip pockets for keeping things quickly accessible. Other practical features include the daisy chain and extra loops for attaching some other equipment. The backpack has a hydration system compartment that’s compatible with a 3-litre hydration bladder (not included).
